who i am
isiah is a creative technician with an immersive media degree at chatham university. centered on the design trends of yesteryear, they hope to create work as a “love letter” to the early to mid-2000s. photography has defined a lot of their life, often documenting the history of buildings with hidden pasts or making the most of decades-old cameras and mystery film rolls. as a side project to many other side projects, they explore differing kinds of legacy media combined with finding the most ideal archival techniques to promote open, public knowledge sourced from a multitude of formats. one such focus is on now-obsolete mobile devices, often being realized in the form of mobile data recovery, forensics, and digital archaeology. outside of work, they enjoy all kinds of film and digital photography, restoration of retro technology, and caring for their pets.
